This is a re-interpretation of the novel, Nineteen Eighty-Four. The theme for this novel design is surveillance. Inspired by the CCTV screen, each page is taken picture from the screen. The pages are coming from the perspective of Big Brother where he watches every movement of every citizens.
The format of the book is according to the dimension of the screen. The time lapse on each page is the numbers of parts, chapters and pages of the novel.
I chose Univers typeface for the body text to to go along the line with the year this novel was publish, which is 1948 while Univers typeface was created in 1954. Besides that, George Orwell wrote this novel about how the society would be in the future, Univers typeface looks futuristic and would be a better choice for the body text.
